Police face blank wall in Virac armed robbery

Police authorities are trying to identify an armed suspect who robbed a Virac businesswomen of her daily earnings and valuables the other Monday.

The report said that at about 7:45 P.M. of Feb. 27 while Evelyn Colambo, 50, a resident of Cavinitan, was about to enter the gate of the Cyprus Commercial Building at barangay Salvacion, an unidentified person wearing a helmet, black jacket, black lower garment and armed with a firearm of unknown caliber suddenly grabbed her shoulder bag.

Colambo tried to hold on to her bag but the suspect fired his gun into the air, forcing her to release the bag containing her cellphone, cash, ATM cards, checks, padlocks and keys. The culprit them boarded a motorcycle and fled towards barangay San Roque.
