The Catanduanes State University (CSU), through its President, Dr. Minerva Morales, announced recently that the 46th commencement exercises will be held this March 17–18 at the CSU gymnasium.
The ceremonies will start at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon. In the morning of March 17, 2017, all graduating class of 2017 belonging to both clusters A and B will be attending the baccalaureate Mass at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Virac.
Expected to expound on the theme “Crusading for Change for a Better World” would be commencement speakers, Ronald Adamat, Commissioner in the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Chairman of the CSU Board of Regents, who will speak on the first day, March 17, and Ranulfo Sanchez, Vice President for Finance of the Fil-Pacific Apparel Corporation and Group of Companies based in Muntinlupa City, who will take the stage on the second day.
Dr. Morales said that those who will be included on the first day, March 17, will be graduates of the colleges of Education, Arts and Sciences, Industrial Technology, and Information and Communications Technology. On March 18, it will be the turn of graduates of the colleges of Agriculture and Fisheries, Business and Accountancy, Engineering, and Health Sciences.
This year’s graduation ceremonies of the institution marks the first time since the CSU was conferred its TUV Rheinland certification (ISO 9001; 2008), and classified as SUC Level-IV based from official results validated by the Regional Evaluation Committee on SUC leveling.
The CSU continues to earn institutional accolades every year by consistently placing topnotch passers in the national licensure examinations and by earning higher reputation among the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the country.
