Six minors, together with their parents and guardians, were invited to the Virac police station last week after the boys were identified as the one responsible for the robbery committed at the breakwater after midnight of March 23.

Two of them were Grade 11 students from Bagamanoc, a Grade 8 student at Catanduanes National High School, and three out-of-school youths from Sta. Cruz and San Isidro Village, Virac.

A thorough investigation by the police pinpointed the boys as among the seven suspects who approached Ralph Resorero, 29, of Moonwalk, Calatagan, at 12:30 A.M. of March 23, with one of them poking a bladed weapon at the latter and saying: “Iluwas mo na ang adiyan mo ta nganing dai ka maano.”

One of the suspects struck his head twice with an empty bottle of Emperador Light before the group escaped with about P1,000 cash and a Samsung Galaxy J1 cellphone worth P8,000.00.
