A motorcycle with three on board which attempted to overtake another motorcycle instead hit the latter’s backrider, causing injuries to four persons along the national road in San Andres town last week.

The Honda TMX 155 driven by tricycle driver Tito Facundo, 39, of Catagbacan, with farmer Jacinto Capistrano, 52, as backrider, was bound for the town proper when it tried to overtake the skeletonized SYM motorcycle of construction worker Richard Dasalla at 12:45 P.M. of March 23.

Dasalla was with backriders Nicole Dasalla, 10, and Henry Nazareno, 50, when the Honda TMX clipped the left arm of Nazareno, who fell on the pavement and sustained multiple injuries. The Dasallas were also hurt when their motorcycle crashed to the pavement.
