Caramoran police officers are trying to identify two armed men who allegedly threatened workers of a construction company in barangay Dariao three weeks ago.

The belated report stated that at 3:15 P.M. of Sept. 13, 2018, the two men carrying short firearms went to the barracks of Tri-Ex Tower Company, Inc. and conversed with utility man Edson Icawat, 45, a resident of Napo, Pandan, and his two co-workers, Jovel Yaba and Louie Valenzuela.

“Matagal na pala kayong nagtatrabaho dito, hindi man lang kayo rumirespeto,” the suspects allegedly told the three workers. One of the armed men went to the transit mixer and backhoe, threatened their operators by showing the firearms and then forcibly took the ignition keys.

Before fleeing on foot towards an unknown direction, the suspects further threatened the workers, “Wag kayong magkakamaling iparating ito sa kabila.”

They reported the incident three days later to the Caramoran police, which forwarded the report to Camp Camacho headquarters only last Sept. 25.
