Personnel of the Pandan police station are now trying to identify the suspect or suspects who broke into two classrooms in separate elementary schools the other week and took cash and valuables.

Public school teacher Daisy Eusebio, 41, told the police that when she reported for class at 7 A.M. of Oct, 11, 2018, she discovered that her classroom at the Balangonan Elementary School had been robbed.

Investigation revealed that the unknown perpetrators destroyed the padlock of the main door and once inside took a Durabox worth P1,000.00., two laptops – a black Acer Travelmate and a black Lenovo – placed the plastic box and valued at P35,000.00, and cash amounting to P1,500.00, for a total haul of P37,500.00.

In Canlubi the next day, teacher Willy Icaro Jr., 37, was walking inside the campus of the elementary school at 6 A.M. going to his classroom when he noticed a laptop bag on the ground. This prompted him to check the school’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) room where he discovered the robbery.

The culprit apparently destroyed the wooden jalousie window and then escaped with an HP-242G2 laptop with serial number 5CG509088R and valued at P18,000.00.
