Elements of the Pandan police were able to recover the motorcycle and other items taken from an employee of a local lending institution who was waylaid by highway robbers in broad daylight the other Monday.

The lawmen were conducting a hot pursuit operation against the suspect at a mountainous part of Bagawang at 9 A.M. of Jan. 15, 2019 when they came upon the motorcycle of victim Dominic Spencer Ibardaloza, 21, an account officer of Pinoy Lingap Damayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PLDC), as well as the backpack.

A day earlier, Ibardaloza was riding his motorcycle along the road in Bagawang going to the town proper at 11:40 A.M. when a man wearing a black shirt with a jacket covering his face suddenly appeared from a grassy portion of the road and then pointed a short firearm of unknown caliber at him.

The suspect stopped the PLDC employee and pulled him to the ground before hurriedly taking his motorcycle and gray-black backpack containing his file case of loan applications and other documents, calculator, stapler, and the registration documents of the vehicle.

Ibardaloza described the suspect as more or less 25 to 30 years old, 5’5” to 5’6” in height and of medium build.
