Police arrests rape suspect who evaded law for 12 years

San Andres’ No. 10 Most Wanted Man, who has evaded the law for 12 years now, is now in police hands following his arrest in Pasay City last week.

Catanduanes police provincial director Senior Superintendent Paul Abay identified the suspect as Lucio Toledo Sodela, 51, jobless and a resident of Buenavista, Bato.

Joint elements of the Pasay City police office led by SPO2 Enrico Desalisa and San Andres police station headed by Senior Inspector Roderick Dismaya collared Sodela at his address at 1772 Tramo St. in Barangay 46, Pasay City last Feb. 5, 2019 at 6 P.M.

The man has been wanted by the court for almost 12 years in connection with two counts of non-bailable rape charges filed against him before the sala of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 43 Presiding Judge Lelu P. Contreras.
