9th Summer Barakalan now open at Virac plaza

The 9th edition of the annual Summer Barakalan Trade Fair at Plaza Rizal in Virac officially opened last Monday, April 15, 2019, with locally-made products offered for sale to the public until April 20, 2019 except during Good Friday.

This year’s trade fair will be participated by different municipalities in the province represented by exhibitors offering food and non-food items that carry the name of each municipality.

For this year’s Summer Barakalan, the supporters of local goods should expect a variety of products, be it food, wearables, homestyles, furnitures, ornamentals, and more.

Among the products to be sold include the following:

For food lovers: Carabeef tapa, pancit bato, pickled mushroom, chicharon, tilmok, mushroom sisig, laing, pickled veggies, banana chips, taro chips, ampaw, latik, pastillas, pinangat, pickled mangoes, molido, koping, peanut butter, polvoron, turmeric brew, ube mooncake, etc..

For the non-food items: rattan craft, abaca slippers, ornamental plants,  chili garlic sauce, wall decors, bigaho trays, brooms, orchids, cactus, Catanduanes souvenir items, shirts, and many more.

Everyone is enjoined to proudly support our very own products in this year’s Summer Barakalan sa Plaza Rizal.
