Three graduates of the Catanduanes State University landed in the top 10 passers of the June 2019 Nurse Licensure Examinations as the school itself placed 7th in the list of top performing schools nationwide.

Dan Albert Teves Timajo ranked 7th in the exam with a rating of 86.20% while classmates Kathryn Avery Antonio Aldave got 86% for 8th place and Claudine Cornel Villamor had 85.60% for 10th place.

In April 2017, Aldave ranked number one in the midwifery licensure exam with a 91.45% rating while Villamor was 3rd with 90.45%. John Nicholas Soriao had 89.25% for 6th place and Alben Bernal scored 88.75% for 10th spot in the same exam.

All three are members of the CSU College of Nursing’s second most successful batch ever, with 42 of its 46 nursing graduates, or 91.36%, hurdling the test administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Only three schools got perfect passing performance in the NLE, with West Visayas State University-La Paz topping them with all its 163 graduates making it, including the topnotcher, 3rd, 4th, three at 5th, 7th, two at 9th and two more at 10th place.
