MANILA (PIA) – With a day to go, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is reminding voters, whose registration status was deactivated, to reactivate their registration status.

COMELEC advises them not to register as a new voter. Instead, they may apply for reactivation so they can once again exercise their right to vote.

Likewise, the commission advises voters who transferred to a new residence to apply for Change/Correction of Entry to update their registration record.

The application for reactivation can also be done during the voter registration which will start on August 1, 2019 up to September 30, 2019.

Registrants are advised to bring any of the following for verification: Student ID, Employee’s ID, Postal ID, Senior Citizen ID, Driver’s License, BIR ID, NBI Clearance, Passport, SSS/GSIS ID, IPB ID, PRC ID. (PIA InfoComm/COMELEC)
