Three persons were injured in Viga town last week when the motorcycles they were riding collided at a curving portion of the road in barangay Del Pilar.

The report stated that student Edward Tesoro, 19, of Sta. Rosa, was driving a black Motorstar 150RII while farmer Ramil Camacho, 28, of San Roque, was on board a yellow Rusi Korak 110, with abaca stripper Darwin Nepomuceno of Del Pilar as backrider.

Both motorcycles were traversing the opposite sides of the national road and collided when they reached the curved portion, resulting in multiple physical injuries to the two drivers and the backrider.

Both drivers had no licenses and helmets while the Rusi had no plate number.

In Virac two days earlier, a British construction manager and his wife were hurt when the motorcycle they were riding ran over a stray dog.

Mark Andrew Ford, 57, and Jane de Jesus-Ford, 31, both of Francia, were on board a black Honda Click when the incident occurred at 7:30 P.M. of July 18, 2019 at Palnab del Sur. A stray dog suddenly appeared on the motorcycle’s path, causing the driver to hit the dog. The motorcycle crashed to the pavement, with the impact inflicting bodily injuries to the couple, who were reportedly reeking in intoxicating liquor at the time of the crash.
