Two more small firearms and a rifle were surrendered to the police in two towns under Oplan Katok of the Philippine National Police.

Last July 23, 2019 in Virac, businessman Marlon Gonzales, 47, a resident of Cavinitan, surrendered to the police station a 9mm Armscor pistol, two steel magazines, 14 pieces reloaded bullets and 13 pieces full metal jacket, and a gun case. The gun was covered by a license that expired in April 2010.

That same day in Panganiban town, Maria Linda Catignas, 55, of San Juan, went to the police and surrendered a Cal. 22 revolver with nine bullets and a Cal. 22 rifle with expired licenses that belonged to her late father, Benjamin Arcilla.

The Panganiban police led by Master Sgt. Rosie Jean Lilang had conducted Oplan Katok, as well as the Virac police led by Chief Master Sgt. Erwin Molina, among local gun holders to surrender their firearms for safekeeping pending the renewal of their licenses.
