NAGA CITY (PIA) –Ballet teacher and San Beda alumna Paulina Labayo of Naga City emerged as this year’s most beautiful lady after being crowned Ms Bicolandia during the coronation night held Sept. 11, Wed. at the jampacked Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum, here.

She graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Economics and Public Policy from San Beda University recently.

Labayo outshined 18 other lovely candidates during the said competition. She was also a recipient of the Best in evening gown special awards. She was joined on stage by other winners; Hillary Carrascal from Sorsogon- 1st runner up; Rheema A. Adakkoden from Camarines Sur- 2nd runner up; Vanessa Mae. G. Buitre from Legazp City- 3rd runner up and Danica Theresa Sheen P. Dilla from Iriga City- 4th runner up.

Carrascal also won the Ms. Robinsons Place Naga and Miss Photogenic award while Dilla got the Ms Vista Mall awards.

The organizers also send off various corporate and special awards to other lovely candidates.

Liezl Anne B. Iñigo from Camaligan carted off the following awards: Ms. Summit and Go Hotels,  Ms. Carmen Hotel Bicolandia, Ms. Bicol Isarog, Ms. Smart and Ms. Moraville. She was also adjudged Best in Swimsuit and this year’s Darling of the Press special awards.

Trixia Jorgia P. Aganan who also hails from Naga City received the following corporate and special awards: Ms. LYRR- Deca Homes, Ms. Quantrics, Ms. Congeniality and Best Designer special awards.

City Mayor Nelson Legacion extended his congratulations to all the winners, particularly to the newly crowned Ms Bicolandia. Earlier, as he was delivering his welcome message, Legacion stated that given the beauty of all the candidates, each one is worthy to be crowned as Ms Bicolandia 2019.

This year’s Executive Committee is headed by its Chairman, Councilor Dr. Sonny Rañola, with his Vice Chairman, Councilor Jose “Joe” Perez. (LSMacatangay-PIAV/Camarines Sur)
