Unidentified culprits robbed an elementary school in Gigmoto town last week, escaping with audiovisual equipment worth over P20,000.

Public school teachers Allen Ubalde and Victoria Tolledo, both residents of District II, were about to open their classrooms at the Dominador Guerrero Elementary School at barangay San Vicente at 7:30 A.M. of Oct. 7 when they discovered the robbery.

They noticed that the windows at the back of each classroom had been destroyed, apparently used as entrance and exit by the perpetrators.

Stolen from Ubalde’s room were two amplified speakers worth P13,000 and 25 meters of extension wire worth P790 while Tolledo’s room was robbed of a lapel wireless microphone, a small amplified speaker, a projector and extension cord, all valued at P6,330.

Police operatives are conducting follow-up investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
