Island’s #1 Most Wanted arrested in Antipolo City

Two of Catanduanes’ top fugitives were apprehended last Oct. 25 by the police in Antipolo City and Laguna.

The number one on the province’s most wanted list, lending collector Joelle de Quiroz Isuela, 38, of Maysuram, Caramoran was arrested in Imarawan, Antipolo City by a team composed of elements of the Catanduanes Provincial Police Office (CATPPO) led by PCpt Emsol E. Icawat, and Antipolo City police PCP2 led by PCMS Edwin Caimoso.

Isuela is currently wanted for two counts of non-bailable murder with direct assault and robbery with bail recommended at P40,000, with both cases pending before the Regional Trial Court Branch 42.

At noon of the same day, the No. 11 on the wanted list, farm caretaker Richard Aquino Vergara, 42, of Cabcab, San Andres, was arrested by joint elements of the San Andres police led by PCpt Emsol Icawat, the Caramoran police headed by PSSg Ryan Bien, and the Catanduanes 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company led by Marlon Matienzo at Barangay Perez, Calauan, Laguna.

Vergara is wanted for the crime of murder, with no bail recommended, before the RTC Branch 43.

Meanwhile, Bagamanoc’s No. 3 Most Wanted person finally fell into the hands of the police in Quezon City last Oct. 21.

Plumber Richard Fernandez, 40, was nabbed at around 9:00 A.M. in Cubao, Quezon City, by joint elements of the Bagamanoc MPS led by PCpt Edwin Adora and the 2nd PMFC.

Fernandez is wanted for the crime of malversation of public funds with bail fixed at P40,000.
